Can you define 'Democracy'?

The challenge ,here, is to protect the most endangered word in the alphabet. In frivilous mode, please, unless you have to be serious. I will go for ,"government by the people, for the people", because our 'souvlaki' at 'Eat at Joes', is the best. And , didn't Greeks invent both words, anyway?

Representative democracy - where we elect people to look after us, which is what we've got at the moment. Basically, that's "management of the people, in the interests of the wealthy, organised by the wealthy"

And not the good management - like teacher/student. More resource managment or HR management.

"management of the people,in the interests of the wealthy, organised by the wealthy"

Any other suggestions over the weekend?

"democracy" is giving politicians far too much opportunity to play Power Games.
